Expected Dearness allowance from July 2013

Expected Dearness allowance from July 2013

We can assume by calculating method with AICPIN, the next additional Dearness allowance from July 2013 to Central Government employees and pensioners may be 10%.

Although the expectations are high in the percentage, the index numbers of All India Consumer Price for balance months of April, May and June can only the deciding factor for the second installment for this year.

The magic numbers of AICPIN for the last three months are yet to be published by Labour bureau. If the index number for balance of three months will just increase one point from the existing level, the calculation will bring an another ten percent from July 2013 and the total dearness allowance will be enhanced from 80% to 90%.

This is second time for CG Employees and pensioners to get ten percent in Dearness allowance and Dearness relief, certainly it helps to balance the huge price hike in essential commodities.

Govt employees are happy about probable increase of 10% DA, likely increase in date of retirement, etc but no body talks about work performed by them. Only few work but u can not take action who don't work.

u r so right sir, but how to motivate such employees. officers are busy with their self-promotion agenda. commission cuts and safeguarding their dear ones in the offices, promoting the undeserved, semi-qualified but ready to shoulder and push the officer's agenda. I personally feel it is the officers who have to come out of their shell of personal agenda and set themselves as example to be followed. The easiest job in the world is critic. We must not forget while we point a finger at others the remaining four do point to us. Why the officers are afraid of taking actions against such unproductive employees becoz it would be same, 'pot calling the Kettle black'. Join me on my platform, i can further widen you enriched vision. Best wishes
