The calendar of holidays for Central Government Offices in 2023 was issued in the Holiday Order on June 16, 2022 by the Government of India’s Department of Personnel and Training. All central government holidays in 2023 are observed by the closure of the CGHS offices, hospitals, and wellness centres.
For its offices in 2023, the Central Government has set aside 17 gazetted holidays. Additionally, two more holidays were chosen to be included in the list of prohibited holidays by the CGEWCC in the State capitals.

Central Govt Holiday List 2023 PDF
CGHS WELLNESS CENTRE/POLYCLINIC WORKING HOURS
Timings Every working day, from 7:30 AM to 2 PM, wellness centres are open. All Central Government-notified holidays are observed by the Wellness Centers’ continued closure. However, if three holidays fall in the same week, the Wellness Centers won’t be closed for more than two days.
- Hours of operation for the wellness centre are 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
- At 1:45 PM, the registration for patients concludes.
- At 2:00 PM, the Wellness Center closes.
No critical patient, however, is sent back from the Wellness Center unsupervised.
Online appointments are now simple to make. For a hassle-free experience, it is recommended to schedule appointments with both GDMOs and specialists online.
The time slot allocated to beneficiaries who made an online appointment only includes the reporting period; it does not include the consultation period.
The Administrative Office is open from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding all recognised holidays observed by the Central Government.
It is possible to meet the Additional Director between the hours of 3:00 and 4:00 PM. Make contact with PA.
