Kerala 11 Pay Commission
The 11th Pay Revision Commission has recommended the minimum basic salary of Rs. 23000 for State Government employees and the maximum of Rs. 1.66 lakh.
The revision of pay will be implemented from July 2019.
The pay panel has not recommended the retirement age of Kerala Government employees.
The pay commission has recommended 10% House Rent Allowance (HRA) for class A cities. And the 8% and 6% have been recommended for class B and class C cities respectively.
The revised salary will be disbursed from the month of April 2021.
The Commission proposes to submit its Report to the Government in seven
Parts, as detailed below:
Part I : Salaries & Allowances and Pension of State Government
Part II : Salaries & Allowances and Pension of employees of the High
Part III : Salaries & Allowances and Pension of University employees
Part IV : Salaries & Allowances and Pension of employees of the Kerala
Part V : Salaries & Allowances and Pension of Municipal Contingent
Part VI : Salaries & Allowances and Pension of employees of grant in aid
Part VII : Administrative Efficiency and Social Accountability
The Commission anticipates that the Government would be issuing orders on Part I shortly. If Government notices any anomaly while examining or
implementing the report, the Commission will be happy to re-examine the
matter, as we will be continuing our work even when the process of elections to the State Legislature is on, to complete its remaining tasks. Further, the Commission would like to emphasise that the recommendations that will be made in Part VII should be seen as an integral extension of those in Part I, and the recommendations may be seen as one whole package.
