In continuation to this office letter dated 07.07.2021 regarding activities to be conducted under Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat, it is informed that as a part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav it has been decided that competition in the category group song and solo song- patriotic/folk in the language of the paired state according to the Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat format will be conducted during the month of August. The competition will be held through virtual mode at the following three levels-
- Vidyalaya
- Regional
- National
The modalities of the competition will be as under –
Group Song –
The duration of the Group Song will be 4-5 minutes including the announcement. The number of participants allowed will be 6-10 with 05 persons including the Music Teacher for background music. The group song will be in the language of the state and country allotted to the Region. The theme of the song will be patriotism, national integration, Social Cohesion, Youth/women empowerment, or the folklore of the State and Country.

Solo Singing Competition
Number of Participants one boy, one girl – each from junior level (class VI to VIII- 02 participants one boy, one girl) and senior level (IX to XII- 02 participants one boy, one girl). The theme would be patriotic/ folk song of the state/country allotted to the region.
The participant may be provided accompanist up to 3 other students.

The Deputy Commissioners of the regions will prepare a plan for the regional and Vidyalaya level competition for their region. The winners in the three categories- group song, solo song- junior and senior will participate at national level competition which will be conducted live through virtual mode.
All participants, Vidyalaya/Regional level will be given participation certificates and students securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd position will be awarded prizes. The details of prizes to be awarded will be communicated to the regions shortly.
The National level competition will be organized by the following regions-
