The undersigned is directed to convey the sanction of the President of India to the payment of Productivity Linked Bonus for the Accounting year 2021-22 equivalent of emoluments of 60 (Sixty)Days to the employees of Department of Posts in MTS, /Group ‘C’ and non-gazetted Group ‘B’. Railway Bonus 2022 Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 78 days wages for the financial year 2021-2022 for all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees (excluding RPF/RPSF personnel).
Grant of ad-hoc bonus for 30 days to the Group ‘C’ RPF/RPSF personnel for the financial year 2021-2022.
All Group ‘C’ RPF/RPSF personnel, ad-hoc bonus equivalent to 30 (thirty) days emoluments for the financial year 2021-2022, without any wage eligibility ceiling.
Productivity Linked Bonus for the eligible Industrial civilian employees of the EME for the Financial Year 2021-2022.

Bonus 2021 – 78 Days Bonus for Railway Employees 2021
Railway Bonus 2021 Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 78 days wages for the financial year 2020-21 for all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees (excluding RPF/RPSF personnel).
Eligibility of Bonus in Central Government Employees
All Non-Gazetted employees, including Non-Gazetted Group-B officers, are eligible for Productivity Linked Bonuses and Ad-hoc Bonuses. There is no basic pay limit. An ad hoc bonus is given to recently recruited employees who have completed six months of service by March 31st.

Bonus for Central Government Employees: Productivity Linked bonus, Ad hoc bonus, Calculation, Ceiling and Eligibility
A bonus is a lump sum payment provided to employees in addition to their monthly income once a year. In Central Government Services, bonuses are divided into two types: productivity bonus and non-productivity bonuses (ad hoc bonus). The declaration of the productivity bonus is based on the output of production in the corresponding year. All employees, including administrative personnel, are eligible for the Ad-hoc Bonus (Non-Productivity Linked Bonus).
Bonus Payment and Bonus Period
Bonus is always provided based on the last financial year. Employees in the central government are now receiving bonus for the financial year 2020-21. Every year, a bonus is announced before Diwali or Durga Pooja.
Bonus calculations for Postal employees
Bonus calculations for postal employees 2018-19 who performed duty without strike will get the following amount as follows:
7000*60/30.4=13,816
For those who performed 2 day strike will get the amount as follows:
7000*11=77000
7000/31*29=6548
(77000+6548=83548)
Total 83548/12=6962
6962 * 60 /30.4=13740.78

For GDS, who performed 2 day and 4 day strike will get the amount as follows:
10*7000=70000
7000/31*29=6548
7000/31*27=6097
70000+6548+6097=82645
82645/12=6887

Bonus Amount for Central Government Employees
Calculation ceiling for payment of ad-hoc Bonus shall be monthly emoluments of Rs.7000 for Central Government employees.
Non-PLB (Ad-hoc Bonus) for thirty days would work out to Rs. 7000 × 30 / 30.4 = Rs.6907.89 (rounded off to Rs.6908/-).
Bonus Amount for Casual Labour
Casual labour who have worked in offices following a 6 day week for at least 240 days for each year for 3 years or more (206 days in each year for 3 years or more in the case of offices observing 5 day week), will be eligible for this Non-PLB (Ad-hoc Bonus) Payment.
The amount of Non-PLB (ad-hoc bonus) payable will be (Rs.1200×30/30.4 i.e.Rs.1184.21 (rounded off to Rs.1184/-).
